NFL Hall-of-Famer legend Franco Harris Passes away at the age of 72

Franco Harris, the Hall of Fame Pittsburgh Steelers known for his miraculous grab in the AFC Divisional Playoffs has died at age 72
Harris’ death came days before the 50th anniversary of the “Immaculate Reception,” the play that won the Steelers their first playoff game
Harris’ cause of death was not immediately known, Harris’ son, Dok, told Press on Wednesday that his father died overnight
Harris played for the Steelers from 1972 to 1983 and was famous for that play that won the Steelers their first playoff game
They were inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1990. In 2017, he was also recognized as one of the inaugural members of the Steelers Hall of Honor
